From a Mac:
A. Capture the Entire Screen
- Press Shift + Command (⌘) + 3.
- The screenshot will be saved to your desktop.
B. Capture a Selected Portion of the Screen:
- Press Shift + Command (⌘) + 4.
- Drag the crosshair to select the area you want to capture.
- Release the mouse or trackpad button to take the screenshot.
C. Capture a Specific Window:
- Press Shift + Command (⌘) + 4, then press the Space bar.
- The pointer will change to a camera icon. Click the window you want to capture.
- The screenshot will be saved to your desktop.
- Capture Using the Screenshot App (macOS Mojave or later):
- Press Shift + Command (⌘) + 5.
From a Microsoft Windows computer:
