Educational Development

Educational Development

The field of Educational Development supports evidence- and research-based approaches to improving teaching and learning in higher education.

At Lethbridge College, the Educational Development team provides vision, leadership, and support in developing and facilitating professional development opportunities for LC instructors. We maintain a dynamic portfolio of services, engage in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research to remain responsive to the current and future needs of instructors and the institution, and initiate a variety of projects to advance excellence in teaching and learning. Our goal is to ensure early, mid, and late career instructors at Lethbridge College have the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate learning in ways that meet the needs of diverse learners in a variety of learning environments.
