CanvasCon2023: Spark Curiosity!

Stay curious, stay inspired.

CanvasCon2023: Spark Curiosity!

CanvasCon is Lethbridge College’s annual internal conference dedicated to all things Canvas. This year, the conference draws inspiration from local corvid species like crows, magpies, and blue jays, which use curiosity as a catalyst for exploration, learning, play, social interaction, and adaptation.

By leveraging the power of curiosity, CanvasCon aims to foster creativity and innovation within the Canvas platform. Attendees are encouraged to explore new tools and seek out fresh experiences, and to adapt to the ever-changing conditions and learning environments.

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Kaeli Swift, an expert in corvid behavior and ecology, will be our keynote speaker through Zoom at CanvasCon. Dr. Swift’s dedication to teaching is evident in her publications and her role as an instructor at the University of Washington (they use Canvas, too). During her presentation, she will share her extensive knowledge of crows, exploring how their remarkable intelligence and inquisitive nature can enrich our approach to learning. We look forward to welcoming Dr. Swift to CanvasCon and learning from her insight
